Not really a jump-scare game, but more like an under-the-skin kind of horror. It's like John Carpenter gone 8-bit. Unfortunately, due to my being a spineless coward when it comes to video games, I quit not long after the encounter with the scary prom queen who wants your undying (or possibly undead) love. I'm gonna make myself try again, and when I do, I'm sure I'm in for a treat.. Unplayable -5$. This game is a bit of a throw back to the early 2000's with it's own campy style. I highly enjoyed it. What this game did was accomplish more for me so far (hour and 20 min's in) is a good building of scare and alot of emotion as you find out more about a certian someone. i actually throughly enjoyed this and surprised at how good it was. https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=K5u7Ayrrups&feature=youtu.be. I wanted to be that one person to give this a good review...but sadly I cannot.The game has a lot going for. I mean the comic-style horror (not the super jumpscares that we normally go through) gives it a good vibe. The story gets better later on.However, the controls...oh god the controls. They are just too sensitive. When changing maps, your direction goes back to the same. For example, you're heading down and when the map changes when you heading down, it tries to go back up.The interface is terrible. For the gamepad, it rotates to different stuff rather than what you want.And at the end...oh man the end. Just dodging that shark thing. That is worse than the Chantelise and FF8 final boss.In the end, the story was great. However, with the terrible controls, and the fact there's not another episode coming, it was better off being a visual novel-type game.Pros:Good story.Nice atmosphereCons:Controls are terrible and too sensitiveInterface could be betterThat goddamn ladyThat goddamn sharkNow if you excuse me, I'm gonna take some pills for my headache.. Episode one was short and left off with a sort of cliff-hanger ending, but I loved the games resemblance to Silent Hill. It was truly awesome and I can't wait for Episode 2.
